Keeper signs new deal at S6

Young keeper Cameron Dawson has signed a new three-year deal at Hillsborough. Academy product Dawson, 21, is third in line for the first team spot, behind Keiren Westwood and Joe Wildsmith. Meanwhile, winger Jack Stobbs – who captained last season’s highly successful under-23s – has agreed a further year at S6.

Changes to fixture dates

An update on Wednesday’s fixtures for next season … The home game with Sunderland, scheduled for Tuesday August 15, will now be played on the following evening. In addition, the S6 match with Preston, due to for Easter Saturday, will now be played on Good Friday, with a 3pm kick off.
