Ike Ugbo has left Wednesday for Cypriot club Apollon Limassol on a season-long loan.
Ugbo initially joined the Owls, on loan, in January 2024 before the move was made permanent that summer.
The 27-year-old made 81 appearances for us, scoring nine goals, but hardly figured in first team plans in the later stages of his stay at Hillsborough.
Sporting Director, Simon Wilson, said: “After a difficult period, Iké asked the club to facilitate a fresh start this summer, with the objective getting back to his best for the benefit of himself and the club.
“We have worked collaboratively together throughout the off season to identify the right opportunity and believe we have secured something we are all happy with.”
