Wednesday have added to our goalkeeping options with the signing of Connah Trueman.
Trueman, 30, left MK Dons at the end of last season and has signed a one-year deal at S6, saying: “It’s a massive club and at the moment especially, it feels like a really good time to be here.
“I think you can really feel the buzz around the place and you can feel there is the start of a new chapter, a new era, and I’m buzzing to be here and be a part of that.
“We are going to go for promotion this year, that’s what it’s all about, so anytime that’s dangled in front of you, it’s really, really exciting.”
Sporting Director, Simon Wilson, said: “Connal is a player that we are familiar with and he arrives with terrific references on and off the pitch – he is a talented goalkeeper and another great character to add to the group.”
Trueman has spent most of his career with Birmingham City after joining their youth academy as a teenager. After several loan spells, the keeper signed for Millwall and then joined MK Dons last summer.
