Wednesday fans were given another boost with the news today that Max Lowe has signed a one-year deal, with a club option of an additional 12 months.

Lowe has made 66 appearances for us since joining in the summer of 2024 and was outstanding in the latter part of last season when he returned after a lengthy injury lay-off.

The 29-year-old said: “I can’t wait. It’s been hectic but I’m delighted to get this sorted as quickly as we could.

“It’s no secret that it was a special day against West Brom and I said how I felt after the game. It’s a special club and I felt like that was just a teaser of what’s to come.”
