Max Lowe could be back in the Wednesday starting line-up for tomorrow’s home clash with AFC Wimbledon.

The influential defender has been sidelined since early season after picking up an injury in training but Henrik Pedersen said today that Lowe has trained well this week and that could signal his return to the squad.

Davis Keillor-Dunn will be vying for a place in the starting line-up after impressing as a second-half substitute at Huddersfield and Liam Cooper is fit to play following the kick to the head he suffered in the lead up to our penalty equaliser against the Terriers.

We’ll be hoping for only a second home league win this season in what will be our fifth division one match at Hillsborough and Pedersen said ahead of the game against mid-table AFC Wimbledon: “I really hope we play tomorrow as we have trained this week. They have trained really, really well.

“We want to create a team with power, aggressive pressing, high ball speed and a forward mindset. We want to create more and this will grow and get better and better.”
