Wednesday have today announced the appointment of Howard Wilkinson OBE, Lord David Blunkett and Clive Betts as Lifetime Presidents.

The club released the news prior to this afternoon’s match with Stockport with the club saying: ‘We are delighted to announce the appointment of Howard Wilkinson OBE, Lord David Blunkett and Clive Betts as Lifetime Presidents.

‘The honorary positions recognise three individuals with longstanding connections to Wednesday and the City of Sheffield, and the significant contributions they have made to the club, its community and wider civic life’.
