Lucas Joao made his full international debut for Portugal on Tuesday evening in their friendly in Luxembourg.
The young Wednesday striker played for 80 minutes of the game, which saw Portugal win 2-0 with goals in either half from Andre and Nani.
Joao had made his full international bow as a late substitute in Portugal’s friendly defeat in Russia at the weekend.
Meanwhile, Daniel Pudil came on as a 76th minute sub for the Czech Republic in their 3-1 friendly loss to Poland on Tuesday evening.
