Dominic Iorfa says he’s looking forward to the upcoming season after agreeing a new deal at Wednesday.
Amidst the flurry of new signings at the club, Iorfa becomes the second ‘long-serving’ Owls man inside 24 hours to extend his stay at S6 – following Josh Windass’ decision to stay at Hillsborough.
And the defender said on X: “Happy to have signed a new contract at this club. Look forward to the new season ahead!!
“Thanks for all the messages.”
Iorfa joined us from Wolves in January 2019, so far making 142 appearances for the club, and Danny Rohl will be pleased to see such an experienced defender pledging his future to the Owls.
* Kick off time for our first pre-season friendly at Alfreton on Saturday has been brought forward to 1pm, to enable fans to then watch England’s televised Euros 2024 quarter final against Switzerland, the tie starting at 5pm.
