James Beadle has returned to Hillsborough on a season-long loan from Premier League Brighton.
The 19-year-old spent the second half of the last campaign on loan at S6 from the Seagulls, keeping eight clean sheets during Wednesday’s exceptional turnaround in form to stay in the Championship on the last day of the season.
Beadle is now back for 2024-25 as first choice keeper, backed up by summer signing Ben Hamer and Pierce Charles.
