Darren Moore was left frustrated and hugely disappointed after seeing Wednesday dominate Wimbledon for three-quarters of the game today, only to throw away a two-goal lead in the remaining minutes.
The Owls boss said: “We just threw two points away. We should win the game, end of.
“For about an hour, probably 70 minutes, I was really pleased. Then, for some reason we just let them back in the game from being two-nil up. We just switched off with our concentration and gave them two goals.
“When you’ve got a team on the back foot just kill them off, that’s the ruthless mentality I want in the team and we’ve not shown it today, for whatever reason.
“I’ll have to look back on it but my emotion now is just see the game out. Did I see Wimbledon getting anything from the game today? No, because we were dominant, so it’s frustrating on that point.
“I’m disappointed with it and the players know we’re disappointed with it because we should win the game, end of.
“I should be talking about taking three points but I’m not and that’s the most frustrating thing about it.”
