Sub role for Bernard as Jamaica qualify for Copa America

Di’Shon Bernard was a late substitute for Jamaica as they hit back to beat Canada 3-2 in the second leg of their Concacaf Nations League quarter final in Toronto last night.

The Wednesday defender came on for Aston Villa’s Leon Bailey in the 90th minute and then played the 10 minutes of added time as Jamaica, trailing 2-1 from the first leg, drew level 4-4 on aggregate and now go through to the Copa America and Concacaf Gold Cup on the away-goals rule.
