St Johnstone striker Stevie May is reported to be on the verge of joining Wednesday.
Milan Mandaric confirmed on Thursday that we had met the Scottish club’s valuation of the 21-year-old and BBC Sport’s website says May is now set to have a medical on Saturday before moving to S6.
If the transfer is finalised then we are likely to be spending at least £800,000 – plus add-ons – to secure the services of the young striker.
