Former Wednesday winger, Brian Usher, has passed away at the age of 80.
Brian joined us from Sunderland in June 1965, linking up again with Owls boss, Alan Brown, after playing under him at Roker Park.
He made 68 appearances for Wednesday, scoring three goals, before joining Doncaster Rovers in May 1968 as part of the deal that saw Alan Warboys make the move in the opposite direction as a striker at S6.
Brian went on to play more than 170 games for Rovers.
The London Owls send our condolences to Brian’s family at this very sad time.
