Wednesday have announced that there will be a minute’s applause ahead of this evening’s pre-season friendly at Doncaster as a tribute to Trevor Francis and Chris Bart-Williams.
Both Trevor and Chris passed away yesterday and the players will also wear black armbands for tonight’s game.
Trevor played for and managed the Owls during our highly successful period in the top tier in the early nineties while Chris, signed by Trevor, made 156 appearances in our midfield during four years at S6 from 1991 to 1995.
