Owls slip a place as Plymouth go top

Wednesday moved.back down a place to fourth in division one today after Plymouth Argyle’s 2-1 win over previously unbeaten Ipswich.

Yesterday’s victory against Wycombe had taken us up into third spot on 20 points but the Devon club’s success sees them leap from fourth to the top of the table on 22 points, with leaders Ipswich slipping to second and a point behind Argyle.

Portsmouth, whose scheduled game with Bolton yesterday was postponed, sit in third on 21 points but now with a game in hand on ourselves, Plymouth and Ipswich.
