Wednesday have signed Shea Charles from Premier League Southampton on a season-long loan.
Midfielder Charles, the elder brother of Wednesday goalkeeper Pierce, came through the ranks at Manchester City and progressed to training with the first team, making his debut against Brentford.
Southampton then signed the 20-year-old on a four-year contract in July 2023 and he made 35 appearances for the Saints last season as they were promoted back to the Premier League.
Charles has already won 17 caps for the senior Northern Ireland team.
