Darren Moore was disappointed to see Wednesday knocked out of the FA Cup at Fleetwood tonight … but immediately turned his focus on Saturday’s big clash at Ipswich.
After making 10 changes to the side that toppled Plymouth on Saturday, Moore reflected on the single goal cup defeat by saying: “To lose the game in the manner that we have, from a set-play, is really disappointing because keeping those out this season is something we took pride in.
“I think with the result tonight, we’ve only got ourselves to blame.”
However, with Wednesday now heading the division one table and facing third-placed Ipswich at Portman Road on Saturday, he added: “Yes, we’re out of the FA Cup but now we focus on the league.”
