Darren Moore spoke of a difficult 90 minutes for his Wednesday side but felt we were deserved winners in the 1-0 success over Peterborough at S6 today.
The Owls boss said: “It was a game where we couldn’t get frustrated or impatient and we had to keep concentration.
“The second half we got in and around them and spoiled what they tried to do. I thought our work was good to minimise them to one potentially clear-cut effort when Jaden Brown got back to block it.
Reece James, Fisayo Dele-Bashiru and David Stockdale all missed making the squad today and Moore explained: “Reece was in the squad but this morning he rang in and said he had a stomach upset, so we had to pull him out.
“David Stockdale took a knock in training when he was doing set plays and that stiffened up, so he came out of the squad as well.
“With Fisayo Dele-Bashiru, he rolled his ankle yesterday. They’re all minor things that I thought would be alright today but they weren’t, so we had to take them out. Hopefully all three should be fit and available for next week.”
