Jameson joins up with former Wednesday favourite

Nigel Worthngton has wasted no time in returning to Hillsborough to bolster his squad at new club York City.

The former Owls favourite took over as boss of the division two outfit earlier this week and has swiftly taken keeper Arron Jameson on loan until the end of the season.

Jameson, 23, has found it difficult to make any impression on the first team squad at S6, behind Chris Kirkland and Stephen Bywater and with Adam Davies looked upon as third choice.

Worthington replaced Gary Mills at Bootham Crescent, following a poor run of results for the Minstermen which has seen them dropping towards the relegation zone and a return to Conference football.
