Harriet Lloyd, sponsored by the London Owls for this season, scored twice on her debut for Sheffield Wednesday Ladies in a 5-4 home defeat to Brunsmeer Athletic.
The Wednesday Ladies found themselves 5-1 down early in the second half before Lloyd sparked a revival with a quickfire double to bring the score back to 5-3.
A further Wednesday goal three minutes from time gave hope of completing a remarkable comeback but it was not be.
