Good news over striker’s injury

Will Keane’s knee injury is reportedly not as bad as first feared and he could be in contention for a place in the squad to take on Derby on Saturday.

The Manchester United loanee striker failed to appear for the second half against Brighton on Saturday after suffering a suspected medial knee ligament injury.

There were concerns that he could face a lengthy lay-off but it is believed that the injury has settled down and that, with further treatment, he could return on Saturday.

Ex-Ram Chris Maguire is also back for consideration after his two-match ban while Stuart Gray waits to see if Jose Semedo recovers from the ankle problem that saw him limp off against Brighton.
