Di’Shon Bernard and his Jamaica teammates saw their Concacaf Nations League hopes end in quarter final defeat in the United States in the early hours of Tuesday morning (GMT).
The Reggae Boyz went into the game trailing 1-0 from last week’s home first leg and the return tie in St Louis was all but over by half time with the US team 3-0 up on the night – including Christian Pulisic’s effort deflecting off Bernard for the second goal.
Bernard played the full 90 minutes and after the United States added a fourth, Jamaica did pull back two goals from Demarai Gray, but it was Mauricio Pochettino’s side who went through to the last four on a 5-2 aggregate.
