Darren returns to management at Huddersfield Town

Former Wednesday boss, Darren Moore, is back in football management at Huddersfield Town.

Moore, who surprisingly left Hillsborough by what was described as ‘mutual consent’ just weeks after leading the Owls back to the Championship after our play-off final win over Barnsley, replaces Neil Warnock who, as already announced, left the Terriers following their home draw with Stoke last night.

One of Moore’s early games sees him back at S6 for the Yorkshire derby with Wednesday on October 7, which will no doubt lead to a warm welcome from the home fans and a possible interesting meet-up with Dejphon Chansiri if the Owls owner is in attendance.

Moore’s backroom staff at Hillsborough – assistant manager Jamie Smith, first team coach Jimmy Shan, set-piece coach Simon Ireland and goalkeeping coach Adriano Basso – have joined him at Huddersfield.
