Pierce Charles is set to be be back in the Wednesday goal for tomorrow night’s FA Cup fourth round replay at Coventry.
Charles made his senior debut for the Owls in the first tie and now, with loanee keeper James Beadle cup-tied and Cameron Dawson still recovering from injury, the youngster is ready to step in again for the game at the CBS Arena.
Deadline day loan signings Kristian Pedersen and Ian Poveda are both ineligible to play and there are likely to be other changes from Saturday’s heavy defeat at Huddersfield, as Danny Rohl also has his sights set on getting three crucial points from Friday night’s home Championship clash with Birmingham.
If tomorrow evening’s tie is level after 90 minutes there will be extra time, followed by penalties if the sides are still level.
