Youngsters through in FA Youth Cup after penalty shootout drama

Wednesday’s under-18s went through to the fourth round of the FA Youth Cup after defeating Hemel Hempstead 5-4 on penalties at Hillsborough this afternoon.

With first-teamer Will Vaulks watching on, Devlan Moses put us in front in the first half but Hemel equalised just before the break and, with no goals in the second 45 minutes, the tie moved into extra time.

The visitors went 2-1 ahead but Dom Weston sent the match to spot kicks with a last-minute header and we then edged the shootout 5-4 to clinch a place in round four against Reading.
