Seven players are to leave Wednesday following the end of their contracts.
Dennis Adeniran, Jaden Brown, Ben Heneghan, Jack Hunt, David Stockdale, Sam Durrant and Ryan Galvin will be released upon expiry of their current agreements.
Meanwhile, the club have exercised options to retain Barry Bannan, George Byers, Lee Gregory, Dominic Iorfa, Liam Palmer and Josh Windass and the trio of Callum Paterson, Marvin Johnson and Fisayo Dele-Bashiru have been offered new deals.
Aden Flint and Reece James will leave S6 following their loans at Hillsborough.
