Wednesday have signed Chilean defender Juan Delgado from Portuguese side Paços de Ferreira.
Delgado, 30, has largely played at right back but can also switch to a wing back role and was previously with new Owls boss Xisco Munoz at Spanish club Gimnàstic de Tarragona.
He has been capped 13 times for Chile and played in their recent friendlies against Cuba, Dominican Republic and Bolivia.
