Carlos Carvalhal is hoping he can keep loanee striker Gary Hooper at Hillsborough until at least the end of the season.
Speaking after the win at Fulham, Carvalhal said Hooper is now in good shape in terms of fitness and confirmed he wants to extend the player’s stay at S6, at the same time reiterating that the Norwich man was one of his first targets when he got the Wednesday job.
However, Carvalhal also indicated that it is likely to be a quiet January transfer window for the club.
