Stuart Gray felt Wednesday thoroughly deserved the points after witnessing our remarkable injury-time fighback at Rotherham.
Gray pointed to the Owls creating the better chances in the game and was delighted with the late rally that saw us turn the match upside down after Rotherham had gone 2-1 up with just three minutes of normal time remaining.
The head coach said: “We could have crumbled at 2-1 down but we didn’t.”
Gray added: “It was an amazing game and I’ve just said to the players how important it is to play all the way to the end.
“We conceded with the last kick of the game against Millwall earlier in the season and that is not a pleasant feeling.
“It shows that while ever there is a chance, you play to that whistle and go for it. When I saw the seven minutes of added time go up, I knew we had a chance and thankfully we took it.”
