Michael Turner is back in the Wednesday squad for tomorrow’s trip to Cardiff.
Turner has been out for almost two months with a knee injury and, if he is not ready for a starting place, then Sam Hutchinson is likely to continue in the central defensive role he took on successfully against Derby last weekend.
Jack Hunt is still sidelined with a calf injury and so Liam Palmer is expected to keep his place at right back.
With Cardiff in sixth place and ahead of Wednesday only on goal difference, we go into the game knowing that victory would lift us into the play-off places.
