Dave Jones hailed Wednesday’s win at Orient as the team’s best performance since he took over the reins at S6.
After watching the Owls dominate in a
1-0 win, Jones said: “I would say that is the best perfomance yet for me.
“We were very comfortable, we kept possession very well and, in truth, Leyton Orient did not look like scoring. We won by the odd goal and it might have been a lot more because we didn’t only have half chances – but what I would describe as clear-cut chances.”
Referring to making four changes to the team, Jones said: “I thought the time was right to make changes today – and not just one or two but more wholesale ones.
“I just felt we needed to freshen things up.”
