Team news ahead of Wednesday’s trip to Boro

Di’Shon Bernard will be assessed ahead of Wednesday’s trip to Middlesbrough on Easter Monday.

The defender had to pull out of the Good Friday home draw with Swansea after suffering a muscle strain in the warm-up while Barry Bannan returned from injury as  a second-half sub against the Swans and he could be back in the starting line-up at Boro.

Ian Poveda was badly missed in midfield on Friday and we wait to see if he can play any part in the match.

The point against Swansea kept us in 23rd place but now level with nearest rivals Huddersfield and Birmingham on 39 points, while only five points separate ourselves from Millwall in 16th, with seven games remaining.

Middlesbrough sit in mid-table, nine points adrift of the play-off places and unbeaten in their last five matches.

All of our relegation rivals are also in action tomorrow, Huddersfield at Stoke, Birmingham at home to Preston, Plymouth hosting Bristol City, Blackburn away to Sunderland, QPR travelling to Swansea and Millwall at Rotherham.
