Danny Rohl agreed that Wednesday were beaten by a much better side after our 4-0 thumping at Southampton today.
The home side illustrated the gap between top and bottom of the Championship with an emphatic victory at St Mary’s, Rohl saying: “We did not come here to park the bus, it was important not to lose our identity. In the second half we had some good moments but always, if you start to try something, you’re more open and you see that quality that can hurt you.
“Southampton were a different level of team, they deserved their win and we must learn, improve and move forward with some important games to come.”
