Rohl’s post-match verdict on Plymouth loss

Danny Rohl talked of Wednesday needing to be able to perform and compete for the whole match after seeing his side begin well only to finish on the wrong end of a 3-0 scoreline at Plymouth this evening.

The Owls boss said: “It’s hard to speak about this because we controlled the first 25 to 30 minutes and created chances.

“They score a great free-kick and then some things turned and they were stronger. It was a mistake for the second goal and we then tried everything but in the end we conceded the third goal.

“It’s not about doing the right things for 25 minutes or 60 minutes – you need to do it for 96 minutes to go forward and that must be our goal.

“I have seen good parts in the games but not enough so far.

“At the moment it is just about the next opponent. We will have, I’m sure, an unbelievable support on Sunday and we’ll do everything on the pitch to get that first win.”
