Liam Palmer has been selected as the League One Player of the Month award for August.
The defender has had an excellent start to the season, clocking up 350 appearances for the club at Bolton and celebrating with a rare goal, then following it up with another in the next game against Forest Green.
Palmer, 30, said: “It’s nice to win an individual award but all I want to do is work hard for the fans and the team.”
Boss Darren Moore said: “I’m really pleased that Liam has won, and deservedly so.
“He’s had a fantastic start to the season and to be recognised shows the wonderful work he’s done. Liam’s put a lot of hard work in and he’s really playing some good football at the moment.”
