Darren Moore is expected to make several changes for tomorrow evening’s televised Carabao Cup first round tie against Sunderland at Hillsborough.
With Wednesday facing three league games in seven days – beginning at home to Charlton on Saturday and followed by trips to Peterborough and Bolton – Moore is likely to give opportunities to some of those who have so far not figured in his starting line-ups.
Cameron Dawson is in line to get his chance in goal, Dennis Adeniran and Tyreeq Bakinson could be in midfield and loanee defender Reece James may well get a runout.
The tie is live on Sky Sports, kick off 7.45pm.
