Wednesday completed a busy transfer deadline day with the late signing of midfielder Filipe Joaquim Melo Silva from Portugese side Moreirenses for an undisclosed fee.
The 25-year-old has signed a three-and-a-half-year contract at Hillsborough and became our fourth new signing of the day.
The midfielder is known as Melo in Portugal, where he has played for Moreirenses since 2013, and he captained them to the Portugese top tier last season.
The deal is subject to international clearance.
