Gabriel Otegbayo made his debut for the Republic of Ireland under-21s in their friendly with Hungary in Spain this evening.
The Wednesday youngster was part of the side who ran out 3-1 winners at the Pinatar Arena in Murcia.
Meanwhile, James Beadle played the first half for England’s under-21s tonight in their 4-2 friendly win over Portugal at The Hawthorns.
After Friday’s eventful 5-3 defeat in France, it was another entertaining game for the Young Lions who led 2-0 after 10 minutes but were soon pegged back to 2-1.
The youngsters restored their two-goal advantage 15 minutes from time but Portugal made it 3-2 on 85 minutes before England ensured victory with an added-time fourth goal.
