New kit and shirt sponsor unveiled

Wednesday have this morning unveiled the new home shirt for the coming season and announced the kit sponsor at the same time.

The shirt is predominantly blue and white stripes but with a solid blue sash at the top and the sponsor is WANdisco – a global software development company.

WANdisco originates in Silicon Valley, USA but has dual headquarters in Sheffield and has been in the city since 2009.

The company’s Chairman, CEO and lifelong Wednesdayite David Richards said: “I am thoroughly delighted to align the WANdisco brand to that of Sheffield Wednesday. This club always has and always will have a place in my heart and I could hardly be more proud that the WANdisco logo will adorn the home shirt of the Owls.”
