Wednesday have been allocated an additional 600 tickets for next Tuesday’s Capital One Cup first round tie at Rotherham.
The initial 1,900 tickets sold out in quick time but now the Millers are offering an extra batch for the clash at the New York Stadium.
The tickets – priced £20 adults, £11 concessions (over 60s, full-time students and disabled fans on high rate DLA), £7 juveniles (13-17), £5 juniors (12 and under) – go on sale from 9am tomorrow and will again be sold under the Ticket Priority Points scheme. Rotherham have also identified a number of Wednesday fans who have bought tickets for the Rotherham section of the ground. These people will be contacted in the coming days and have their tickets cancelled. In addition, details are being passed to the football club and South Yorkshire Police, and further action could follow.
