Darren Moore reflected on an eventful 90 minutes this afternoon with the end result another three points at S6, four goals and a place back in the play-off standings.
Speaking about the 4-1 win over Cheltenham, Moore said: “I was really pleased with the quick response after we went behind. We were level at half time and made a couple of adjustments to the team.
“I felt if we kept on going the chances would be there for us with the way we were attacking them.
“At 2-1 up, there were a couple of incidents where Bailey pulled off a save, there was a block from Harlee and they hit the post.
“Then Jack Hunt scored a wonderful goal and it took the game away from them. It was all about getting the three points today.”
He added: “The big thing for me was continuing our home form in front of our own fans. That’s five home games and 18 goals scored.
“There was a real belief in the team at half-time, even though it was 1-1.”
The victory also lifted us back into sixth – and the play-off places – with Moore saying: “Mentally and physically it is a good position to be in but we will continue with our game.
“It is great to be in the play-offs. We will continue to focus on what we are about and what we are doing.
”We move onto next Saturday and another home game, against AFC Wimbledon.”
