Wednesday’s slim hopes of keeping defender Mark McGuinness on loan from Cardiff for the rest of the season look to have disappeared.
His parent club were able to exit a transfer embargo earlier this week, seemingly allowing them to take McGuinness back to Cardiff, and reports from Wales are indicating that he is now training again with the Bluebirds.
Darren Moore is expected to clarify the situation at today’s lunchtime press conference.
Meanwhile, Wednesday’s postponed game at Barnsley – scheduled for January 29 but called off due to our continued involvement in the FA Cup – has been rearranged for Tuesday, March 21, kick off 7.45pm.
