The tremendous strike from Marco Matias at Leeds early in the season has been shortlisted in the Football League Goal of the Season competition.
Matias’ cracker was announced on Channel 5’s Football League Tonight show as one of the top ten strikes of the season and Wednesday fans can now vote for the goal by going to the Football League website www.football-league.co.uk
Voting closes at midday on April 1 and the list will then be whittled down to a top five, with the winner announced at the Football League Awards on April 17.
