Jermaine Johnson has been banned for an extra game following his straight red card against Barnsley on Saturday.
It was JJ’s second sending off during the season, following his dismissal at Rotherham in the League Cup, and that means he will be banned for four matches instead of three, starting at Reading on Saturday.
Johnson, who was dismissed for a high challenge on Brek Shea against Barnsley, will now miss the home game with Derby, as well as the Reading trip, the visit of Wigan and the FA Cup tie against Charlton.
And, depending on how those injuries progress, Stuart Gray hinted that he may have to move for a central defender when the emergency loan window reopens next week.
