‘It was a point for our spirit and togetherness’

Danny Rohl talked of the spirit and togetherness both on and off the field after his Wednesday side came back from two goals down to draw with in-form Norwich at S6 on Tuesday evening.

The Owls boss made four changes at half time after seeing us totally outplayed in the first 45, leading to a much-improved second half display, and he said afterwards: “It was a strong comeback and a good second half, which was all or nothing as we trailed 2-0.

“We played more direct. I said at half time we needed to play on the front foot, be brave, play direct and create something.

“It was a point for our spirit and togetherness. At the end the atmosphere was special, for me it is important we stay together in difficult moments and in the second half we did … the whole stadium and the players and it was great to see.

“Now we keep going and Saturday is the next one.”
