Good news on injury front for S6 finale

Kieran Westwood should be fit to return in the Wednesday goal for Saturday’s Hillsborough season finale against Leeds.

Westwood, who is due to receive the London Owls Player of the Year trophy before the game, had to pull out of last weekend’s draw at Bournemouth after suffering a calf injury in the warm-up but is expected to have recovered in time for the Yorkshire derby.

Further good news is that Will Keane is back from treatment on his ankle injury and could figure, while Jose Semedo (foot) and Claude Dielna (hamstring) are both back in training.

However, Kamil Zayatte (fractured cheekbone) and Sam Hutchinson (torn hamstring) are ruled out for the rest of the season after their injuries at Bournemouth.
