Fernando Forestieri has apologised for refusing to play for Wednesday at Norwich on Saturday.
The striker has been linked with a move away from Hillsborough and a clearly angry Carlos Carvalhal revealed the shock news just minutes before kick off that Forestieri had refused to travel to Carrow Road .
However, today Forestieri said on his Twitter page: ‘I have never wanted to leave and still do want to play for Sheffield Wednesday! I apologise for my behaviour and know there is no excuse! I hope we can move on so I can focus only on my passion!’
