Japanese defender Ryo Hatsuse has joined Wednesday as a free agent.
The 27-year-old is a full back who made 195 appearances for Vissel Kobe in the J1 League.
Hatsuse, who has impressed while having ‘trials’ at Hillsborough, earned a call-up to the Japan under-20s for the 2017 World Cup and was included in the senior squad for the East Asian Football Championship.
Danny Rohl said: “Ryo will need time to adapt to the team, but I am very positive he will be available as soon as possible.”
