Danny Rohl was full of praise for the sellout Wednesday following at Oxford today as they spurred the team on to a fifth win in our last six Championship away days.
Speaking after seeing his side come from behind to win 3-1, Rohl said: “A big thank you to our massive supporters again today. I think this is always incredible when you see how they travel and support us during the whole 90 minutes, not just some minutes. They are always behind and it is great to see.”
Reflecting on the game itself, he added: “I was very happy for us to come back from one down, it is a big credit to the team and shows such good mentality. We believe in our strength and that we can stay in the game.
“It was important we scored the equaliser in the first half. I felt at half time that we could go on and win the game and what I particularly liked was in the last 10 minutes when we kept the ball and controlled the game.”
