As expected, young Owls striker Bailey Cadamarteri has joined Lincoln City on a season-long loan as part of his development.
Danny Rohl strengthened our options up front in the summer with the acquisition of more experienced strikers and the Owls boss recently said of the promising Cadamarteri: “Bailey now needs game time, he needs to be a starter and deliver again and again. A loan deal with the right club will be a good step for him.”
Cadamarteri was given his chance by Rohl last season, making his league debut against Millwall in November and scoring five goals in 25 Championship appearances for the Owls.
He now joins Lincoln for the remainder of the 2024-25 season, the Imps having won two of their first three league one games this campaign.
